Temporary CCTV Solutions

We can provide temporary solutions such as a mobile CCTV unit or our versatile CCTV tower with an adjustable 6 metre long mast.  All solutions can run independently of mains power and communicate with a remote monitoring centre using a mobile network. Live streams can be sent directly to PBS monitoring staff or to your security team, giving you the peace of mind that your site is secure.

Our CCTV Towers can run on either mains or solar power, meaning that you can utilise them in remote sites with little existing infrastructure or utilities. Our CCTV Towers have wide coverage and act as a significant visual deterrent due to their size and overall visibility. Multiple remote sensors are placed around each site, including very large areas, and communicate with the mast-mounted camera when they detect movement. Sensor detection will activate the mast-mounted PTZ camera to focus on a predefined location to enable the security operative or monitoring station to investigate the disturbance, whilst recording the event live.

Additional features of PBS’s CCTV Tower includes the ability to illuminate the area and use infrared light to allow for night-vision. An automated voice challenge can sound from the integral loudspeaker and the Tower will relay live video via the mobile network. The towers are designed to remain unmanned and are highly resistant to even severe weather. PBS can deliver and install each tower to a fully operational state in just 20 minutes.

CCTV Towers are commonly used for large, open spaces such as car parks, sports grounds, farms, music festivals and other large-scale outdoor events.

Our mobile CCTV unit is equipped with multiple fixed cameras that are capable of daytime and nighttime recording, as well as a high spec, 6m rapid-rise mast-mounted, camera with full PTZ [pan-tilt-zoom] capability, which is also capable of remote operation. As well as this capability, the vehicle’s high visibility graphics also acts as a powerful deterrent.

An on-board DVR [digital video recorder] ensures that all CCTV footage captured by the cameras mounted on the vehicle is stored locally. Additionally, all footage is uploaded to the cloud, to act as a backup. Video footage can be watched live through a mobile app, or at a pre-arranged fixed location. It is also possible to control the mast-mounted camera remotely, through the same mobile application.

Our fixed CCTV cameras are highly versatile and adaptable, making them suitable for a range of different uses, setups and challenges. We utilise IP camera technology, which records sharp, high-definition quality images that can be viewed either on-site or remotely.

The PBS Verified Video Alarm differs from traditional CCTV systems in the sense that it captures a short section of footage, triggered by the activation of a sensor. Its purpose is to record the reason for the disturbance at a specific location and then send that image to a predetermined recipient or monitoring station.

This system is commonly used to verify the type of activation that has occurred, which commonly includes wildlife intrusion and human entry. The inView Verified Video Alarm is particularly useful on sites where false alarms are very common, such as highly rural areas. It provides the monitoring service with all of the information it needs to determine what course of action needs to be taken (such as alerting the security services or police).

The Verified Video Alarm provides colour images in the daytime and in bright light conditions and at night or low light conditions, it produces black & white images.

This system is highly versatile and can be used in a number of varying permanent and temporary commercial sites, including construction sites, vacant houses, boat yards and car parks, to name a few.
